Travelmaker is an independent travel agency in the islands and was established in Guernsey in 1990. It is part of the Channel Islands Co-operative Society which was formed in 1919. Both branches in St. Helier, Jersey and St. Peter Port, Guernsey are located in convenient areas of each islands main town area. In Guernsey, we are located at Rectory House in Market Street and in Jersey we are at Don Street in the Homemaker store. As we are an independent travel agency we are not tied to any tour operator so this ensures we will always give customers the widest choice of holidays coupled with unbiased advice. Unique to Guernsey we offer a radical new hypermarket concept. This means we can service all your travel requirements in store from package holidays to foreign money. This is available at our newly refurbished building along with a coffee lounge, where you can browse through brochure and a Bureau De Change. The bureau is able to offer commission free foreign currency and foreign traveller cheques and as we hold stocks in all major currencies this is available immediately. The exchange rates are very competitive and we are the only outlet in the Island to offer the foreign traveller cheques commission free. In both islands we offer a Cruise/Long Haul centre and facilities where you can watch videos of your chosen vacation on Wide screen televisions. We also offer holidays direct from Jersey to Majorca - Algarve - Costa Del Sol - Italy, as well as cruise bargains. You can also view the latest exchange rates from the bureau de change and place an order.
